Ramani Wilson

Ramani Wilson, a D.C. native and fourth-year student at George Washington University, is in the final stages of completing her undergraduate major in international affairs and minor in women s, gender, and sexuality studies.  As co-President of the D.C. Student Consortium on Women, Peace, and Security, several of her efforts have worked towards advancing the diversification of feminist foreign policy and promoting feminist approaches to critical issues surrounding global peace and security.  During her undergraduate studies, she traveled to Morocco, Jamaica, Colombia, Israel, and the Occupied Palestinian Territories and studied abroad in Italy last semester.  While in Italy, she interned at the Euro-Gulf Information Centre and currently interns for the U.S. Department of State’s Office of Development Finance and the Wilson Center s Middle East Program.  Ramani is excited to begin her career as a USAID foreign service officer, ensuring that the implementation of a wide variety of international development programs are gender inclusive.  She is thrilled to continue her studies at the graduate level and join this year’s cohort of Payne Fellows!
